David Fletcher is well known for his formal lectures on antiques and English furniture.
These are aimed at amateur audiences who have an enthusiasm for antiques and wish to develop their knowledge in order to better enjoy visits to country houses, museums and galleries and to enable them to buy and collect with confidence.

Talks And Presentations

For many years David has undertaken light hearted, amusing and informative talks and presentations to organisations such as National Trust groups, Rotary Clubs, Women’s Institutes and Antiques Collectors Clubs. These can take the form of after-dinner talks, mini ‘roadshows’ or events based presentations.

‘Behind The Ropes’ Visits To Country Houses

David also organises private visits to country houses, art galleries and museums.
These can be weekend or single day events arranged in association with hotels or on a free-standing basis. These often feature houses that are not normally open to the public, and include detailed and hands-on examination of items which are usually viewed on ‘do not touch’ basis!
